This page will take you through 7 steps to: 1) enter your current (or recent) job (keyword); 2) select your current (recent) job title; 3) select from a listing of matching careers; 4) select from a listing of related careers; 5) browse active job listings; 6) prepare for the career chosen; and 7) explore web resources specific to the career chosen. It starts with searching 55,120 specific job titles, and ends up providing active job listings and details for any of several related careers and jobs.

Step 1: Enter a Keyword: Enter a keyword related to the job you currently (recently) have (had). For example, if you are a Java Programmer, you might like to enter "programmer". This will identify (from a listing of over 55,120 specific jobs) all jobs that contain the word "programmer". You can enter in more than one word. For example, you can also enter "java programmer" to get more specific results.

Step 2: Select Your Current (Recent) Job Title: Based on the keyword you entered above, you will be presented with a listing of specific job titles. The list may be quite long. The list may contain job titles that you did not intend. For example, if you are looking for a job title with "art" and you enter the 3 letters "art" in the search box, you will see results for all job titles that contain the 3 letters "art" (department, etc.). On the other hand, if you enter the 4 characters " art" then results will contain job titles that start with the 3 characters "art" (artist, etc.). Additionally, if you enter the 5 charaters " art " then results will only contain job titles that contain the word "art" (art).
There are two ways you might like to use this list:
1) Filter - As you enter a word, you will filter (limit) the list of job titles below
2) Browse the list (Don't Filter) - You can simply browse the list of job titles to identify the appropriate one.

Step 3: Select a Matching Career: After you select your current (recent) job title, you will see a list of matching careers. Job titles often can be related to various careers (industries and functions), so please select the career that is a best match to what you do (or recently did).

Step 4: Select From a Listing of Related Careers: After you select your current (recent) career, you will be presented with a list of related careers. This offers you the opportunity to identify careers that have some similarities to your current (recent) job title. Your past qualifications and experience might facilitate a smooth lateral move to one of these careers. Select one for detailed information to follow on the page.

Step 5: Find a Job: After you have selected a career in Step 4, you will see current jobs listings. You can change the location, distance from location and recency as desired. Each of the listings will link to a current job opening.
